What a year its been so far..

A huge well done to all the students who have taken I.S.T.D examinations in Disco Freestyle, Street Dance, Rock ‘n’ Roll and Graded. We had students as young as 3 years from our Little Starz class taking their first examination through to seniors taking their supreme award. Lily Tillbrook, Tatiana Ireland, Charis Sparkes, Amelie Stride, Jasmine Lilley, Paige Tubridy and Debbie Greeves all passed their graded examinations. A special well done to Millie Zarkos for receiving 99% in her Disco Freestyle examination.

Congratulations to Paige Tubridy and Maisey Rush for both getting a place in dance colleges starting in September, we wish them all the best for their future in dance.

We had great success at our Teen Beach 2 workshop and Dance workshop with Amy Preston over the summer, all the students looked like they were enjoying every minute!

We are about to begin practises for our Christmas Show 2016! I know, Christmas already?! We cannot wait to get started as it really brings the school together and showcases what amazing talent we have in this dance school.

Show Business

We have started practising for our up and coming shows..

Our seniors are performing at Drury Lane Theatre, London (where Charlie and the Chocolate Factory is being held) in November, what an amazing experience!

Then we have our Christmas School Show at The Regal, Stowmarket, in December. We have over 80 dancers involved so that’s a lot of people getting excited :)

We are also very lucky to be able to say that we are going to be performing at the o2 next year! It is called ‘Rock Stars at the Indigo2′. We cannot believe we are going to be on a stage where such big acts have performed!

Keep an eye out for pictures from these events and future shows :)

Burlesque Evening

We held our latest Burlesque evening which was a great success with nearly 30 ladies supporting this event, many of which were newcomers to the Burlesque experience.

Our evening started with a warm up act of Ann Summers with fun, games and lots of laughs. Followed by the main act of the evening our Burlesque dances with the guidance of our professionally trained Burlesque instructors ‘The Fever Team’. Everyone soon got into the swing, strut and shimmy of the evening, learning how to place their feathers, boas and chairs in the most strategic positions to bring out their feminine sexy side, gaining confidence, and great memories had from a wonderful evening.
